Au revoir 2014!!!

Hi lovelies ! Before 2014 ends, I want to squeeze in one more post...i haven't blogged as much as I wanted to but I am happy that it was because I was most probably busy...this year was a mix of everything, happiness, pain, stress, loss, sadness, laughter and joy....I am kinda glad and relieved to say au revoir tp 2014..I look forward to seeing what 2015 has to offer...I decided this year that instead of making one resolution, I want to try doing 1 resolution a month...I have a few in mind already bit haven't thought of what month it will be...here is my tentative schedule of resolutions.. fyi I am seriously typing all of this on my phone...lol...

January: Purge as much as I can...donate, give away or sell or throw out lol

February: Do 3 random acts of kindness

March: Run 3 times a week

April: Give up eating rice, chocolate, chips, McDs, and drinking coffee

May: Photo challenge

June: Bike to work

July: Finish a sewing project

August: Use up my craft supplies

September: organize closets

October: Make 100 cards

November: make handmade christmas prezzie

December: bake cookies 2x a week using Martha stewart baking book

I wish everyone a very happy new year to you and yours...lets all kick 2015 in the butt and work it :) ♡♡♡♡♡

Seeing snow on saturday and the cold weather, I have been staying indoors and getting my craft on and having cardmaking sessions :) I can't believe I have made over 400 cards lol...that is only what I posted on IG with the hashtag, #carezzacards....

lol hi peeps! How has it been? as if on repeat, life has been crazy busy…last time I came by was in september and now are in november…can you please slow down time??? we did the "fall back" an hour but i wish it was more like 5 hours…lol 5 more hours to enjoy the weekend…don't want it to be monday…Life has been busy with work, craft nights, and qt with the special peeps in my life… Right now I have so much on my mind right now…so much stuff I want to do! lol I found out that someone I know has passed away and had a private family only funeral…he had cancer and was in remission but then it came back and just took him away just like that…within about 2 months…even though he wasn't a very close friend he was someone who looked like he really enjoyed life and had lots and lots of laughs…I'm smiling just thinking about him now because one thing I will always remember about him is that he laughed a lot and made people around him laugh…I would always laughed when I hear him laughing even if I didn't know what he was talking about because his laughs were contagious…may he rest in peace and have more and more laughs with the angels… At my age, I can really feel like life is so short and how fast time flies…I still can't believe I will be 37 in just a few weeks…I can still feel like I'm 21 and sometimes think I still am…but when I talk about how long I have worked as a nurse,what year I was born in, and what year did I graduate high school, and how many peeps I know who have passed away,I realize unwillingly that I am older and no longer that "youngnin" Even though there is so much more I want to do in life, I can say that I have been blessed with a happy and loving life…I am so thankful for all the blessings I have..Life is not always perfect so I say screw perfection…life is about loving yourself, loving the people around you and loving what you… I don't want to get all deep and ish but I wanted to share my perspective on my daily thoughts and make my mark somehow on the worldwide web lol… I have yet to catch up on my project 365! eeekkkkksss! Wishing each and everyone of you a happy lovely night :)

Hi peeps! I know my blog's design is not lovely or different but I used what was available in terms of templates...I found my pages but I still can't see my photos from previous post...anyhooz been reminiscen' since it is TBT...and thinking about warm and happy times in sunny Florida :) It is starting to get chilly in Toronto...it felt like fall already..a good thing about the cooler weather is that it feels great running outside...here are some photos of florida :)

Hi peeps! Once again, it has been a while since I posted on my blog. I am so sad because the pages I made for my blog are gone! Also, my photos from blog posts…well, gone in the sense that all I see are exclamation marks, I can only see the photos of my post in March 2014.I really need to learn how to use blogspot…I have so much to say and so much to share…it has been a crazy busy summer and year! and the business just keeps on coming lol…as soon as I figure this out, i will be posting catch up on my 365 day project…you can peep my instagram to see what I recently posted for my 365 day project, @handmadebycarezza Toodles for now, Carezza :)

Happy anniversary to my awesome parents!!!!

My sister and I had organized a surprise dinner for our parent's wedding anniversary and it was a success :) Mama bear and Papa bear really had no clue and were pleasantly surprise…amazing family and friends came bearing gifts and an amazing cake…it really was a night of good company, good food, and lots of laughs…Cheers to many many more years of Happy love :) I am really blessed to have amazing, loving and supportive parents!

Finally! lol

Hello peeps, I am finally posting a post and changed the template (finally!)…it has been on my to do list for the longest time…It may not be the most creative template but I am happy with it…my blogging skills are very limited when it comes to layouts...It has been insanely busy both at work and at the home front…good and bad since the last time I posted..at the moment life is ok..I can't complain and when I do, I always think "Someone else is happy with less than what you have"…Speaking of happy…I am happy to say that I have been keeping up with my project 365 :) To do something creative every day for a year…it could be a photo, a craft, or a card…I've been attempting to do this for the last 3 years and I think 2014 will be the year I will complete it…I guess it's too soon to say that I will but I am determined :) All my posts are on my IG (@handmadebycarezza)… Currently I am working on: -research to open an online store to sell my cards and craft supplies -working on ideas for a birthday banner for my friend's cutie daughter -organizing my finances -trying to organize the apartment (ie.figuring out a filing system for bills, purging or giving aways things we no longer use or wear, and organizing my arts and crafts supplies) -checking off my long to do list I want 2014 to be neat,organized and healthy lol Toodles for now :) Always, Carezza

For this post I made some blinged out flower embellishments for cards and scrapbooking ...used up leftover card stock and used a flower punch that I got at Michaels :)

Tgif!!! :) I fell asleep by 7pm and woke up at midnight from the sounds of the crazy wind outside...yikes ! Was thinking of what to post for 24/365 and decided to take a photo of what I did on Friday night lol ....there is seriously not enough time in a day! Almost done with Breaking Bad!

I didn't have a chance to do a craft for 23/365 because I had my sister and 2 cousins come over for dinner :)It was a lovely time with catching up and laughing it up....I took a photo of the three for my post ...these lucky ducks were planning their Euro trip for May...wish I could go but I just don't have the $ for that lol but  I am so excited for them :) Europe is awesome !

Project 365 [22/365]

For post 22/365 I had a couple of ideas in my mind but liked one better than the other...a friend of my mind at work suggested that I try making a cheap and lovely background for cards....supplies need :

-printed napkin (I use christmas napkins that I bought from ikea for $0.50)

-seran wrap

-paper [enough to cover the napkin

-iron 

1. Take the first layer off from the napkin and use the patterned part

2. Cut a piece of the Seran wrap to cover the napkin

3. Place your napkin flat(patterned) side 

4.Use seran wrap to cover all the napkin

5. Place the paper on top 

6.iron on paper

I didn't really like how mine's turned out...first of all, I don't think I set it at high heat and second of all, the material is hard to work with...

Happy TGIF :) This week flew by! It's been cray cray busy at work and all I want to do is sleep... Lol I need more energy and more time in a day so I can do all the things I want to do!

-finish the last 7 episodes of breaking bad

-craft projects

Project 365 [20/365]

Hello luveez :) this is a late post again by 20 mins lol... Was busy in the evening ...I was invited by a good friend and my sister to go to a barre class...they are members now but I went for the free trial class...it was my first time doing barre...not even sure if I can say it that way but anyhooz it was ah-maze-ing!!! It is an intense workout of ballet and Pilates ... I am sore already! Okies onto the post...my sis has a baby shower to go to and wanted a card so I made a few but I like the "congrats " one the best! Night night :)
