For this post I used up cute patterned cardstock and my shape punchers :) I did this while watching the season finale of Breaking Bad...looking forward to what happens in the end...eeeee!

For this post I made some blinged out flower embellishments for cards and scrapbooking ...used up leftover card stock and used a flower punch that I got at Michaels :)

Tgif!!! :) I fell asleep by 7pm and woke up at midnight from the sounds of the crazy wind outside...yikes ! Was thinking of what to post for 24/365 and decided to take a photo of what I did on Friday night lol ....there is seriously not enough time in a day! Almost done with Breaking Bad!

I didn't have a chance to do a craft for 23/365 because I had my sister and 2 cousins come over for dinner :)It was a lovely time with catching up and laughing it up....I took a photo of the three for my post ...these lucky ducks were planning their Euro trip for May...wish I could go but I just don't have the $ for that lol but  I am so excited for them :) Europe is awesome !

Project 365 [22/365]

For post 22/365 I had a couple of ideas in my mind but liked one better than the other...a friend of my mind at work suggested that I try making a cheap and lovely background for cards....supplies need :

-printed napkin (I use christmas napkins that I bought from ikea for $0.50)

-seran wrap

-paper [enough to cover the napkin

-iron 

1. Take the first layer off from the napkin and use the patterned part

2. Cut a piece of the Seran wrap to cover the napkin

3. Place your napkin flat(patterned) side 

4.Use seran wrap to cover all the napkin

5. Place the paper on top 

6.iron on paper

I didn't really like how mine's turned out...first of all, I don't think I set it at high heat and second of all, the material is hard to work with...

Happy TGIF :) This week flew by! It's been cray cray busy at work and all I want to do is sleep... Lol I need more energy and more time in a day so I can do all the things I want to do!

-read a book

-finish the last 7 episodes of breaking bad

-clean my MacBook

-arrange my photos 

-organization challenge

-craft projects

Hello luveez :) this is a late post again by 20 mins lol... Was busy in the evening ...I was invited by a good friend and my sister to go to a barre class...they are members now but I went for the free trial class...it was my first time doing barre...not even sure if I can say it that way but anyhooz it was ah-maze-ing!!! It is an intense workout of ballet and Pilates ... I am sore already! Okies onto the post...my sis has a baby shower to go to and wanted a card so I made a few but I like the "congrats " one the best! Night night :)

Hi peeps ! Happy Saturday :) for today's project 365 post I am posting a photo of what I was busy doing today..most of the day was organizing my craft supplies and seeing what I have... My plan is to not buy any stuff until I've used up my supplies..I really do have a lot lol it's hard organizing craft supplies !!!  Anyhooz gonna sleep now it was a long day!

For this post I decided to incorporate my current obsession into cards...lol I made an origami dress and stuck it on a card...I still do need practice but I have so many ideas that I want to do with origami dresses...

Project 365 [15/365]

15/365 is something I've wanted to do for a while but haven't = Washi tape cupcake toppers :) I got a lil addicted...they are just so cute! Now I really need to make cupcakes ! All you need is Washi tape and tooth picks. Cut a strip of Washi tape and then put a toothpick in the middle and bring one side of the tape over the other and then cut a triangle in the middle ...

For my 14/365 post, I wanted to try sewing again lol and decided to use leftover scraps from the apron I sewed...I made a bow and put it on a headband ...I love pink and polka dots :)

For my 13/365 post, I decided to make a paper gift ribbon...I've been obsessed with paper projects lately, origami dresses and bows and now paper ribbons... They are so cute...I do need more practice though ...the texture and design of magazine paper is great for this...I cut strips of paper and twisted the ends and glued everything together...

I actually thought I have been posting on my blog for my project 365 and realized today that I haven't since Sunday lol...it really has been a crazy week...I've been up to date though on IG ( @handmadebycarezza ) I will be posting the 4 days I missed lol

Project 365 [12/365]

Happy sunday funday peeps!

It's been a busy weekend again but a productive one ...I am really determined to keep up with my project 365...I'm on day 12 and decided to sew an apron..first off, I do not have a pattern for an apron so I just kinda winged it...it bothers my husband who can sew and is a hatter, when I do not have a pattern or have any ideas how to actually execute the sewing project ...I have ideas and thoughts in my head and I just go with it...I just want to get right into sewing and learn as I go...I admit, it's not exactly ideal and can be very frustrating but I learned a lot from this experience...I learned from my mistakes and I know I can do better next time around but for now I am happy with what I did :) 

-I took 2 pillow cases that I got at a dollar store

-cut 3 strips vertically (for the strap that goes around the neck and a strap for each side that would go around my waist and sewed everything together....

When I do get better I will probably do a video:) (when I have the guts)

2014 is all about doing things I always said I would do but never did and trying new things and facing challenges :)

Tgif!!! Finally ! :) lately I've been obsessed with origami ....now that I was able to do a bow, I wanted to make an origami dress...it was a bit harder but I checked out gunoiejapan's YouTube.., I still need a lot of practice ! Big ups and props to those who create and make origami ! It really is an art that requires patience and determination !

Happy Thursday!!! One more day till the weekend :) yay looking forward to it ! :) for today's post for my project 365, I decided to finally make an origami bow..I got this origami book from my husband and tried to make a bow but was unsuccessful :( I looked to YouTube and saw 3 videos and attempted 6 times before I finally got it... The video posted by gunoiejapan was very helpful!

Dear lovelies,

Happy Wednesday ! For today's post [8/356] I took a selfie...2014 is a year where I want to be a better person in every way....one of my goals this year is to embrace my age with grace :) I honestly feel like I am 20...ok sometimes even 18! Lol but I am not...I am 36....I have white hair, laugh wrinkles and age spots...I chose not to change any of that...I've had self esteem and body image issues in the past but I am over that....this is me and I am happy the way I am :) 

Everyone is unique and special in their own way...stop for a minute and see that in yourself...:)

One more catch up post! For 7/365 I worked on a pre-made christmas card... Coloured it in and added some Washi tape and stickers of course...I bought a pack of these cards at Target fo $0.30!!! They are cheap and super cute!

Hello :)

For post 6/365, I took a planner and personalized it for a friend who is moving away :( I wanted to give her a lil sumpin' and ended up giving her a couple of HK goods :) [pen,note pad, and calender] I bought some planners at Target and personalized them for friends with stickers and cut outs....this can be done on anything....notebooks, notepads, etc...

For my post for Project 365 [5/365] I made a Hello Kitty themed paper rosette :) I really love the look of paper rosettes! I want to make a back drop of paper rosettes in different sizes and do a photo shoot of family and friends...I took 3 pieces of paper and folded each paper into fans and then taped them together...to make it look neat I put a circle and sticker of HK in the middle...

Hi peeps!

It's been cray so I am trying to catch up..although I haven't been posting every day , my project365 continues...for my [3/365], I took a photo of "what's in my pencil case" a lot of peeps had done "what's in my bag" so to be a bit different, I decided to do it on "what's in my pencil case" I have a lot of ish in my pencil case...as you can see, I have a weakness for cute stationary supplies especially if it is Hello Kitty !

Happy Monday ! Lol it's brrrrrrrr right now but all is good when the sun is out :) as you can see I am 2 days behind my project 365...I do have the posts but haven't posted them yet! Will do in a few ...busy getting ready for work but I just wanted to post a photo of some hello kitty stuff that my awesome friends have given me yesterday! I am so lucky and thankful ! I really should post all the cute hello kitty stuff i have! I got a lot in 2013! And now this year too! Lol

Project365 2/365

Hi peeps! I am super excited! I am on day 2 of my projec365 :) *highfive* to me and to all the lovelies who are doing one too:) I 'be been trying to come up with a creative post other than a card or a photo...I was looking at my Xmas decos and saw a cute bow that my sis in law gave that she used as an embellishment for her gift bag to us...I took it apart and used it as a template...I traced it on scrapbook paper and voilà! I think if I practiced more they would be nice and neat..I would make these bows for bday and christmas prezzies or for embellishments...they are super cute and easy to make :) here are some photos!

Project 365 :)

Hi peeps! I have decided again to try doing a project 365 :) I will be posting either a craft or a photo each day of 2014....I tried a 365 photo a day project and lasted about 2 weeks...I am going to give it my best to post something every day lol even at least to go over the 2 weeks ...this year is all about doing rather than all talking...let's do this! If you are doing a project too I would love to hear about it :)
