lol...i saw this on the knot wedding website and absolutely love this dress............

Save the date

Teej and I have been thinking about our wedding and coming up with soooooo many ideas....We are all over the place! One day our color is red...another day it's green...lol so when it came down to deciding our save the date cards, we decided to go neutral and will have this printed:




The save the date card is template we got on www.weddingchicks.com....it is a great site for templates on invitations, save the dates, place cards etc...We felt that the save the date card represented us...we both love to ride our bikes more so when we explore the city together on our bikes....

The past weekend was mad busy and went to a baby shower and my aunt's surprise 50th bday....to celebrate the occasions, I decided to make their cards....

So christmas is around the corner...lol...while I was catching up on my tv shows online and trying to organize my papers, I found sooooooooooo many x-mas cards...and figured that I could make this year's xmas cards re-using x-mas cards that I kept that maybe most people would just recycle (hopefully!)....I did kept the message portion of the card and put it in a scrapbook and took the front part of the card......it's pretty easy to do...all you need is scissors, glue, and scrapbook paper....enjoy!

I decided that I would make gift tags with leftover scrap paper that I had lying around...I'm all about being green and totally using whatever I have left behind...

Dear peeps,
Looks like I've been M.I.A...I seriously wish there was more time in a day and that life would slow down...it's been mad busy as usual! b-ball tourney, bowling, soccer, baby shower, b day parties, elections and to top it off, work...lol...it's gonna be a while till life slows down but I'm living life like it's golden =) I live in Toronto and we had our elections for our Mayor last night...I'm not going to really get into it because I'm not a political person but just to put it out there, I am truly disappointed in the results....I am also kinda scared that my neighbours, the people I pass each day, my hairdresser, my family doctor, the cute Greek old men walking on the street, could possibly be the people who have elected an ignorant and hot mouthed individual who would be Toronto's representative....I am trying to stay positive and hopeful that, this new Mayor will actually stand by what he has promised to HIS people....anyhooz I'm gonna take a breather and stop thinking about politics......
Anyhooz, I've been wanting to post some of my stuff for the longest time, so here goes....lemme know what yall think....My fiance and I have been also brainstorming ideas for our wedding.....will posting some of that as well....

life continues to be soooooooooo busy...

There is not enough time in a day...seriously...I feel like I'm always trying to catch up from catching up! lol...so much on my plate these days.....and now that T.J and I have finally booked our wedding date and venue, it's totally for real! Now I have so much more to think about...I've been trying to Save the Date templates and stumbled upon a great website for DIY ish :

totally speechless....

Wuddup peeps,
So my sissy, reenamz, teej and I end up at TO's Manifesto Film Fest and watched 2 inspiring documentaries...we were able to meet Crazy Legs and took a photo with him...I am totally speechless and at loss for words...I am smiling from ear to ear and can't think of what to say so I will let the photo speak for itself =)

chaotic life = delays on posting =p

Dear Lovelies,
Once again I've been delayed in posting every day...I can no longer promise that I will be posting on a day to day basis but I will most certainly try! I have not forgotten my quest in making something creative each day...I am delayed 9 days but I do have 9 creative works =p not to fret....
My cousin had gotten married last weekend so it was a bit chaotic...I only took 1 day off and had to run around after work and after the wedding my parents stayed at my place for the week! I promise myself that I need to be more efficient and quick in order to do all the things I want to do...it's just so hard sometimes...I just want to be lazy =p I have never ending to do list! lol
Anyhooz, after my cousin's wedding, I feel motivated again to think about my wedding....lately I've been trying to look at dresses again....I will be having my dress made by an amazing designer =) I will let you know who soon!

I will be attending a family gathering once again and need to get ready so I won't be able to post my creative ish but I will post some of the dresses I've been checking =)

Day 14 of creativity

So to take my barrette making further, I am trying to use actual clips rather than bobby pins...it is easier to work with and the glue doesn't show as much...I am still trying to figure out how I can make my pins and barrettes in a clean way...hot glue is not my friend....maybe I just need to invest in a "real" hot glue, instead of the flimsy dollar store hot glue gun.

Day 13 of creativity

My friend Fatz had bought card sets at the dollar store and really only wanted the envelopes because of the colour which was her theme color for her wedding, silver...she didn't care for the cards and thought I could use them...so I am putting them to use...and because the cards didn't come with envelopes, I had to make them! :p
