Hello kitty week day 7....

Bon soir peeps,
I've been feeling soooooo sleepy and tired lately...not sure what it is but it feels like when the sun goes down by the time I get out of work, I feel like sleeping when I get home because it's so dark out....lol...well today is day 7, the end of Hello Kitty week...i didn't get to post all the HK ish I have but I showcased most of it...I didn't get to show the HK bags I have but maybe in another extra post....the next week will be HAT DEPOT week...my husband is an apprentice to a Hat master, Louie...they have made amazing, cool, dope, fly, beautiful and dapper hats for everyone...I am looking forward to sharing some of what a labour of love looks like =] doing what you love doing and making other people happy!

Hello kitty week continues...

Hi peeps,
It's been a crazy few days so I am 3 days behind....I am going to catch up! lol It has once again been a busy weekend...Filipinos and boxing fans worldwide were at home, a bar, a church or a friend's home glued to the T.V to watch the fight between PACQUIAO vs MARQUEZ...there was a lot of mixed emotions about the fight but at the end of the day whether peeps were disappointed or not ( lol the fight ended in decision rather than a knockout) Manny Pacquiao was proclaimed the winner =] Just saying...lol...

I apologize for the missed post!!! Hello Kitty Week day 3!!!

Hi peeps,
eeeekkkk!! lol I took a napperz at 8 pm and didn't wake up until 4 am!!! I stayed up on tuesday prepping for my workshop yesterday and felt absolutely burnt when I got home and just wanted to sleep....so I missed my post for Hello Kitty week day 3...When I started this HK week, I didn't realize how MUCH HK ish I have!!! lol I even have some at work!!! wahahahah so here is my HK ish at work lol =]

Hello Kitty Week Day 2

Whatttttuuuuppppp =]

It's a busy tuesday....Have been busy prepping for a presentation/workshop tomorrow....really nervous even though this will be my fourth....lol i could never get use to public speaking no matter how many times I've been in front of people...I've tried overcoming it by joining pageants, going for solos in choir, teaching etc....and I still get nervous every time! I always worry that I may not be able to answer a question! none the less I am procrastinating a it and de-stressing by putting a post on my blog. Today I am sharing photos of some of my have HK stationary...I have others but these are my faves and have sentimental value to me...

-my mum got me the HK binder and folder when she went back home to the Philippines...when she told people she was buying them for her daughter, people had asked how old she was...my mum proudly said 23 lol....when I was a nursing student I would use the folder to put all my notes and handouts and I would get these weird looks in the hospital from nurses and doctors...no one said anything...i totally rocked my folder without a care...coz when it comes down to it...HK rocks! lol


-the pink pen, the pencils, little notebook and really cute stamp was all bought from Target in Buffalo...all for $1 each...you get 5 pencils for $1.....the stamp is really cool too because it lights up!

-The mechanical pencil was given to me by awesome friends when they went to the Philippines....I love how fancy schmancy it is =]

-The tattoos were actually given to me by more awesome friends....they got it for my bachlorette in las vegas...I wanted my entourage and I to wear Hello Kitty shirts but instead they had opted for tattoos...lol we forgot to put them on! lol and I find they're too cute and want to actually tattoo a card instead.....

-The Pink HK hole puncher actually hole punches a Hello kitty head! I got it in New York City Chinatown

Happy Monday Ladies and Gents!

lol uuuuugggghhh!!! mondays....I can't say I love em but cheers to a lovely fall monday =] The weather in Toronto was perfect and beautiful...As promised...I will be sharing with you some of my Hello Kitty stuff =] I love how cute and sweet hello kitty looks =] It's also the kid in me! Enclosed is the "Hello Kitty Famille" and "the Choco cat and Keropi caught up in the HK mix" <3

one more hour = happy sunday =]

I've been meaning to post on friday and saturday but it was too crazy busy and was feeling kinda lazy...it was a pretty tough week and i just wanted to chill and catch up on my korean dramas =] I'm watching "Heartstrings" and I made it to episode 11! lol saturday was a crazy day....I spent the whole day and night dusting,cleaning, purging my whole apt.! I didn't even look at my phone!!!! The only time I really stopped was when I made a goat cheese, greek oregano and honey sandwich! There is still a lot of cleaning to do but I felt really productive...i even did 2 loads of laundry, yay me :)
My sunday mornings involve bowling in a bowling league which gets me pumped for the rest of the day...after bowling, my husband and I took a long walk along queen street west (toronto) in the textile/fashion district....we had a great time checking the different cute and pretty vintage shops and most of all the fabric and paper stores...I had purchased some sewing supplies...soooooo excited!!! Let the sewing projects begin =] I was able to get 5 zippers for $1 so I ended up buying 10...I'm going to make some pencil cases and wallets with them...I finally got a pair of good scissors that can actually cut fabric! I will be doing a Hello Kitty Week...so pls stay tuned! will be sharing some Hello Kitty stuff that I have and cute HK stuff that I've found online......


I'm also looking forward to my orders from Ginko Papers (www.ginkopapers.com)...they have some of the cutest and sweetest papers, cards, stationary, pencil cases etc...They are worth a peep =]

when it rains it pours....

Bonjour!

It's been a crazy and tough few weeks for my family...we are currently going through the saying "when it rains it pours"...none the less we just pick ourselves up and keep going...trying to stay positive and totally looking forward to a 3 day weekend next week!!! =] I have many ideas for next couple of posts....one of them is Hello Kitty week =] I will be sharing the many Hello Kitty items I have that friends and family or myself had bought for me =] As I mentioned before I loooooovvvveeee Hello Kitty despite my age! =p eeeeee!!! soon to be 34...I still CAN"T believe....I would also love to post photos of Hat Depot...a Hat store that sell handmade,customized hats and fascinators....these are 2 of many ideas....can't wait to share them with you! For now I will leave some photos and say toddles for now...gotta catch some sleep for a busy day tomorrow!

creativity continues.....

Dear lovelies,
Happy tuesday =] Feeling overwhelmed today...I have so many ideas for projects and so many things to check off on my "to do list" ie. major clean up as I admit I am a borderline hoarder...lol....what???? i love cute things =] like cards, letters and notes...when am I suppose to "chuck em"? How can I throw a love letter from my husband? lol as promised, I wanted to post photos of our amazing honeymoon! I really wanted to drive in Europe but...
a) I don't know how to drive manual
b) Not sure if I could have driven calmly with all the motorcyclists making their own rules on the road...
c) Not sure if I could have driven through the narrow streets!


Thanks to Teej we were able to drive to south of France and then Barcelona....it was an amazing trip...beautiful weather, beautiful places, beautiful and lovely people, and sharing many memories with my husband....here are just a few of the hundreds of photos taken with my I-phone and edited by Instagram =] my 2 favourite things! lol along side chocolate, hello kitty and did I mention cute things? lol
