2.Start some wedding planning even though my future hubby is in Toronto and I'm in Montreal =p

I'm all over the place...not sure where to start.....I just finished the list but I know I'm forgetting peeps, need to revise it with Teej!
Looked at the expenses...and don't wanna deal with budgets! whahahahah but I did see a dress I like...this is just one of the hundreds of dresses I've seen and liked....I <3 this dress but I think I'm too short and chubby for it....lol....

Today was a great day! I went for a bike ride with Teej for 2 hours=] and the Montreal Canadiens won! yahhhhhhh boy! bring it on Pens! Game 7 here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The weekend was jam packed, wedding on Saturday and then a baptism on Sunday! My mom was suppose to be a ninang (godmother) to my cousin's son, Aaron but couldn't make it to Toronto so I was asked to be the proxy. I felt like wearing a dress but it was soooooooo cold again...I still wore a dress. Once again, I was very tempted to buy something! lol I found out my cousin could get hookups on Vans! eeeeeeee! I want a new pair of vans! lol but I have 2 pairs of vans...do I really need another pair?

$200 Challenge Day3

On Saturday I went to a good friend's wedding and it was lovely. =) It's always happy times when you see two people so happy in love! I can't wait for our big day =) I decided on the day of the wedding that I would wear this short dress...teheheheheh it's way too short for me but Teej seemed to like it and I did like the dress but it's a lil short for me =p The weather was freezing out but my friends and I decided to just go for the short dresses or should I say cocktail dress? lol I'm no fashionista! tehehehehe =]

I still have about 400 something days left to go lol...i feel pretty good...I window shopped today! It is hard knowing that I can look but I can't buy. I need to focus, keep my eye on the prize =p... a whole $200 and the feeling that I can do anything if I put my mind to it.

my $200 challenge / clothing purchase strike

so herez the deal...I'm trying to save $$$ for a wedding and I figured I need to cut expenses...most of my hard earned $$$ is spent on either food or clothes...I figured, I love food and need it, so clothes have to go....lol plus I look at my closet and drawers and it is full of clothes...some I haven't even worn yet...I tell my fiance Teej and he laughs when I tell him that I am not going to buy any clothing items till after we get married...he wants to bet $200 that I will buy something before our wedding, hence the name of the $200 challenge =]

I am determined!

so tired but not giving up!

Yes, that's right! I am so tired. Every day there is something I have to do and there isn't enough time in the day! I just want things to slow down and have a day to just relax and not worry about what I have to do next. I have endless to do list and it doesn't help that I am still a procrastinator! grrrrr! I am not giving up..I just need to buck up..on sunday, I ended up visiting my friend at the hospital...despite her diagnosis and prognosis, she looked amazing to me...it hurt inside to see such a wonderful person cry about how her life completely changed just like that...tears rolled down and many hugs were exchanged...I felt hopeful seeing how positive she was and how determined she is to fight..she starts radiation and chemo next week and I'm praying everyday for her recovery, if anyone is reading this please pray for her as well or send out as much positive vibes as you can.....

This weekend is going to be once again crazy busy! A wedding on Saturday and a baptism on Sunday...I'm looking forward to seeing a good friend marry the love of her life...speaking of marriage...Teej and I finally took some steps forward! lol...We went to see the Priest at our church and we booked for either September 16 or September 17, 2011....we have a little over a year but there is so much planning to do! I want Teej and I to do all the planning but I know it is going to be hard with family members and friends who want to be involved in the planning. We made it clear to each other that although we would definitely appreciate the support, we want to plan the wedding our way :) I wish I could stay and blog some more but I have to get my laundry done! toodles for now!!!
